Many business owners around the United States, feeling the fear and frustration from government orders that their businesses close, are wondering if they can challenge the closure in court. Experts say they are unlikely to succeed.

“The idea that you’re going to walk into court and object vehemently and successfully against known, proven public health social distancing measures that are being employed currently is not a winner,” a law professor quoted in a Bloomberg Law article said.
